Books about Tibetan Terriers

Books

A number of books about the Tibetan Terrier has been published over the years.

Some are sold via the Tibetan Terrier Clubs around the world, other in bookshops, and some of the sold out books can be purchased on amazon and ebay.

Besides books, the Tibetan Terrier Clubs often sell their older TT-magazines, yearbooks etc. with a lot of good information and usually a number of photos in them as well. The clubs too often sell drawings, emblems, stickers, figures and stuff like that. Check out the clubs websites.

Everyone has his or her favorite books. If I had to select some, I couldn't live without, it would be these:

Angela Mulliners wonderful books - volume 1 and 2. A bible about the Tibetan Terrier and its history

I love Jane Reifs books for the stories and for her understanding and empathy for the breed.

An unsusual lovely and good book with a lot of photos

In particular, the description of the Tibetan landscape and the nomads/monks influence on the development of the breed is impressing. As is his mane, to keep in mind the original type of Tibetan Terrier. In German though - hope someone transfers this book into English.
